you cant play this mod on a retail xbox360. you need a jtag to play it. if you have one, then download the patch and patch forge_halo.map with ascension.

you can buy an already modded one (xboxscene.com is a good source) or you can mod an exploitable retail console. there are some good jtag tutorials on se7ensins.com.

it depends on how much you can afford. all jtag types have the same modding capabilities. only their red ring resistance is different. jasper boards are safe but they are really expensive. xenons and zephyrs are pretty cheap and red ring often. i recommend that you buy a falcon. they are safe against rrod and are affordable.

exactly. you have to buy a retail that was manufactured before summer 09 and with a kernel below 8xxx (never connected to live)...or you can buy an already jtagged one.

no you cannot put this mod on with a usb, you need a jtagged(modded) xbox
