General Sony Failed, Will Ps4 Be Better?

So as many of you know, Sony failed with the ps3. Tons of network hackings and millions of people lost credit card info. So do you guys think the Playstation 4 will be any better? Vote above.

I have always liked SONY consoles. I am for whatever they make. It isn't my primary console and it never has been but I really enjoy the exclusives the system has. I would definitely purchase the PS4.

My PS3 has been sitting upstairs in my atic and hasnt been used in a whole year I do play on it sometimes because I like some of the games on it.

You are correct. I have always been a MGS fan and I love Little Big Planet. Titles like that are priceless and to be honest you can never have something that is completely perfect. There will always be a flaw or two.

I don't have anything wrong with the PS3/PS4 or any of its games. In fact the PS3 and PS4 are far more powerful than the Xbox 360.

I just don't like Sony and their poor decisions and policies. Seriously, if they just hadn't decided to remove OtherOS and didn't try to sue Geohot, they wouldn't be in nearly as much trouble as they are in now.

motor storm is just about the only game I play on PS3 I did play MGS4 tho got a bit far in it but havent finished it.

I agree yet back in the 90's to early 2000's the video game preference was quite different. The N64 ruled the market but after the next generation I honestly found the gamecube to be the most entertaining console. After the Halo's came in I shifted towards Xbox. But I still have a feeling of regret for not being a hardcore Nintendo fan. :/

That's like saying that the next xbox is just going to Red Ring the first time you turn it on. The whole point of bring a new console is to be an upgrade and obviously to beat the other consoles. And to a point the PS3 is in many ways better than Xbox360, if you think about it with the PS3 you get free online, a bluray disc drive, better resolution in games and give there customers more for nothing. Did you know that iplayer never came out for the xbox because they only wanted to give it to the gold users. And you can't say Xbox 360 is better than everything, for one you can't compare it to handhelds and two Xbox360 has no innovation. The PS3 is even built better, it is built like a PC. And btw before you ask I only play xbox and ps3 for the jailbreak/flash. If I am buying the games I will still always play PC as it is the best by far for reasons I can't be arsed to go into.

some things are wrong, and playstation has made a new server for online that you have to pay for, yes it it build more like a pc however after certain updates they removed all those features from the playstation so the public couldnt acess them, they're security however if the biggest down fall of them. it was improperly setup and lead to a chaotic downfall(however good for modders). as for resolution in games sure you can access up to 1080i and so forth but i can garantee very few games are actually made up to that resolution and if they are its simply a weaker version that had been updated so even then it doesnt go to its full potention in which case both consoles will put out the same resolution. as for blue ray i personally find absolutely no need for it, why have to rebuy every game you have just to watch them again, or if your like me and the computer is hooked up to your computer simply play them all from there by burning the disk to the computer and never have the need for that again(so in that case does it matter that the discs can be wrecked easier if you never use them again).

as for saying the xbox is better its simply preference. i have played all consoles and i have friends that have different ones. however i feel that in the end when it comes to playing we always end up on an xbox for mass groups(and to be known, theres about a 2xbox to 7 playstation ratio amongst my friends).

as for handhelds or nintendo i dont compaire much to them as yes they have fun games, however multiplayer seems alot more limited for either my friends or just the age group.

i sold my original ps3 a LONG ass time ago. i agree with you for the most part, (and hehe, PC gaming IS far better than console), but the reason why ps3 and PCs don't have such a high recognition similar to the xbox is simply because the xbox is the Call of Duty, of the consoles. What i mean is: yes, the xbox is fun and nice, there IS better stuff out there, and the only reason why it's so popular seems to be as result of everyone, or THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE, PLAY IT. there are less PCs and PSN users.. its more of an ignorance issue to why the xbox is so great (like cod!). don't get me wrong: i love my xbox (i have three of them...). i sold my ps3 a couple of years back, and i got into PC gaming for a while (its amazing how much more you can do on a PC. it's like a dream come true for me). i do believe, however, that the ps4 is unnecessary at this point in time. Modern consoles can update/new advancements can be added without another $300-ish purchase of a new console, and both xbox and ps3 seem to be up to date for the most part on what CAN be achieved for consoles, so i believe that at this point, the ps4 will hardly be any different than the ps3, so it seems to be a waste of money to me. almost as if they have given up on their prized console that was praised so much by Valve for Portal 2 not too long ago.

P.S. did anyone else LOL when they showed the tv screen in the teaser and it showed MW2?!? -not black ops!! (probably because it has been the most successful game in recent years. i personally am not that big of a fan of it)

ps4 may have some good games, i like the racing games, on my xbox i played dirt, and dirt 2 ALL the time, and i like ps3 for little big planet, and the motorstorm series, thats it
