Ok, So i just got done working on a mod on a trial game. I just got a fantastic idea about modding a trial game into a sweet new fully working game of our own. Using the source engine is easy, and Left 4 Dead 2 demo is simple to work with. I know how to work with these tools but here is the problem, my Source SDK (map, model, and texture creator) isn't working. But i will be testing out a simple .map swap and I need some testers. So who is willing to take about 3 to 6 hours of there time aside to help me out this week end? I'll be editing demo and will exclusively be giving out the demo. the only thing you need is a migration cable.

I don't even need a transfer cable since i have a JTAG and can File Transfer over my network to my xbox. I'll test. If you are talking .map mods you need a JTAG or XeDK to test.

Well I forgot about that thunder, You could truely help this project out out a LOT if you could find a way to get the smaller files from the .gfc of the demo if you can find me mainly just the .GCF (GCF Scape will open this) then I can change the .maps into any thing i want same with the modles and the scripts and every thing the play sees and i know how to work the source engine very well. Thunder you may be our way to stick our foot into the door of the modding comunity. I'd work on this a lot more and dedicate at least 2 hours of every day to work on the game. At first it will just be a mod playing through the Half-Life 1 campain with 4 players. Then ill get into more detail and ill make a modle switch then ill start making our own game.

Yes they are but unfortinatly nothing can be confirmed about this project untill thunder sends me the .gfc file. but when he does it's going to be a monster mash! although i was thinking a bit more and well we'll need to add in a lot more rooms for players to respawn and the HEV suit charger will be replaced with med boxes, and every weapon in the game will need at least 1 left 4 dead 2 weapon that would relate to it. such as the Glock (pistol) would be replaced with the dual pistols and the DE, as well as the farther you get into the game the stronger the weapons you get although playing through on even normal would be a highly chalanging game do to its lack of safe rooms. But this is all things i'll worry about more later.
