Gears of War Gear Of War 3 (Retail) Map Checks?

I'm modding gears 3 like the dev copy but every time i do "Disc Read Error" comes up or "Fatal Error Intercepted" any ideas why btw i had the 13599 dash but downgraded to 12something so hope you guys help me out

Actually my xbox wont read the game on dash 13599 runs fine on 12something but yeah need a modded xex i have an awesome mod but i dont want to share it cuz it will be MW2 all over again and epic should keep there gun skins i had to close it sorry

You should really reread your posts You have nothing to fear though cause you wouldn't cause anything. Horizon already released an editor to unlock everything unfortunately including EPIC skins.

i have a mod for gears 3 already, its two of the files and you dont need a modded xex to play it. and if its an RSA the same as halo 3 then simply search the exe for the encrypt from the root xex and find the float that is set for the function to load, then simply remove the decimal and it will null the function. Its how i realtime disable them for halo 3

Or just NOP out the code and redirect a couple of jump targets...function nulling usually isn't as easy as changing 1 float.

Also, TJ and I already found how the hashing works, so it's just a matter of searching for a certain string in the EXE and then searching around there.

it isnt truly nulling the function. just at the beggining in PPC it will redirect to a small function to get a value. you remove the decimal which is actually the branch to that other thing it will break the entire function so it doesnt return anything.

the mod i have gives godmode, playersonly mode, max ammo(loaded commad), and lots of money(setscore command). godmode and playersonly are also keybinded. what it basicly is is keybinding the debug commands. so if you wanted you could set basicly anything

It's one of the new games on XGD3. Added security, support was only added on the last dash-update.
