This Site Signature Rules

The two different places that tell you what is allowed for signatures kind of conflict with each other:

The big box in purple is under the Rules topic, the small box in blue is on the User CP for editing signature.

The purple says 10 lines of text/other things about quotes, and the blue says Any number of lines.

So my suggestion is that these two get fixed to match each other so there's a little less confusion.

Fail on my part. That must have changed in IP.Board 3.2 because it didn't used to be that way.

Just fixed it. We can't make it match exactly what we want, but it should be a lot less confusing. I'd follow the one in the rules but keep in mind too that it's not enforced much.

I didn't have anything I wanted to do that would break either page's rules, but I saw the differences and thought someone should be informed.

It's mostly the 500x250 pixels restriction that we enforce, since large signatures can really just make topics annoying to read. Breaking the rule won't get you in trouble or anything though, we'll just send you a PM and ask you to change it.
