Hello I am still getting back into modding now it's been a while and I was wondering if there's some certain or specific jtag I should get?

I don't think there would be any specific type of jtag to get unless your talking about the motherboard which would be a Jasper motherboard.

There is also the RGH so you can RGH a slim (valhalla motherboard) as well.

what is a jtag

A modified Xbox that can run unofficial code. Used for doing advanced modding in Reach and other games.
