.MAP Changing Boot Images

Let's you change the boot video to any video you want

1)Download Rad tools from http://www.videohelp...RADTools19u.exe

2)Install it.

3)Run the program and open your chosen video. [Can Be Any Format]

4)Click Bink it

5)A window will open up, click convert at the right hand side.

6)Name your compressed video intro_60.bik.

7)Go to your Halo Reach directory and go to the bink folder, open it up and overwrite intro_60.bik with your custom one.

Enjoy your custom intro!

Also, any idea how to make it good quality? Because I tried this a while ago but the quality was just so crappy after it converted.

Does the video look fine before converting? Are you using an .AVI to convert? (I think AVI works best, I haven't used B&S in a while)

Yeah, .AVI is the format that works best for me. I used to convert .AVI's a lot a long time ago when I screwed with Fallout: New Vegas intro vids. I tried converting a .WMV once, the quality turned out HORRIBLE.

WMV itself is just a horrible format, you can never expect to have any good video quality with it at all.

No I don't when I convert it's the same so maby it just doesn't work for ur laptop and here a vid of it working with good quality that I made

Hmm, may have been the video I was using or maybe possibly the version of RAD tools I used. I'll make a new one tomorrow and see how it looks

Just a tip: simply reversing the stock intro is better than anything ever.
