Help With [Hlmt] In Campaign Maps

5 posts in this topic

I am not sure if I am missing a plugin or not, I downloaded Lord Zedd's Ascension plugin pack. When I go to the [hlmt] tag in m45.map I see the Identifier, Example: 0x800C18CC But if I open up forge_halo.map I see the names, Example: objects\characters\spartans\spartans. I think this is a tag issue but I am new so I'm not too positive about that. This is making it very hard to find the spartan hlmt to enable invincibility in campaign maps. Anyone have an answer?

You gotta backtrace it. Go to the Spartan BIPD and it will say what its HLMT is.

plugins arent taglists, the only reason they are named on forge world is cause we named them. which is what the taglist files are. campaign and other maps are very limited and you will have to go around and actually look for what the objects are and name them yourself if someone else hasnt already.

For me All of the important hlmt's are at the bottom of the list. Its the same for me 0x800C18CC and so on all the way down until I see the important tags (spartan). All the hlmt's you need already have a name in that tag. But if you find a map without the names do what Zedd said and backtrack them from bipd, then upload your tag file.
