I have a question for everyone. Do you think that a blog system could be helpful for this site to have. People could have their own individual blogs as well as have group blogs for development and mods as teams.

I would like to hear some feedback on this.

It is a good idea, but $50 is a bit much in my opinion. I don't know about others, but I probably would bother using it that much.

I think this a great idea and if this will be implemented I´ll be using it for sure. With a personal blog, members could post things, which dont deserve an own topic or could inform the others about their progress on their projects (research, mods, programming).

Certainly a great idea, but the question is how much use it will get from everyone. Lots of potential uses/applications though.

Okay fine, you didn't ask us to but I voted Daily because it would be a good place for an Argon development blog and we tend to get a lot done each day. I could also blog about technical things like the results of research I do.

Customization and group blogs sound very promising. I imagine an Argon dev blog with a metro background and layout.

The problem with WordPress is that it's difficult to integrate into the site and theme. There are plugins that do it, but they cost way more than IP.Blogs does (I kid you not, I saw an integration plugin that costs $1000) and we also don't have time to make one ourselves.

I would like this, Idk if I would use it much for blogging but I would love to be able to read what everyones up to with modding or researching. I hate seeing something in the shout box but not getting to read it all because some of it got pushed down too far for me to read it all.

If you absolutely need it, I wouldn't mind chipping in $10-15. I know that you don't like me to spend my own money though.

And also, as far as activity goes, I think this parallels the downloads system. Just like the downloads system mainly consists of higher member uploads and regular members downloading, the higher members are going to be the main people writing blog posts but everybody will enjoy reading them. We can all agree (I hope) that the Downloads system was a good investment, so I definitely think we should look into purchasing IP.Blogs. It can really only help us.
