I Put the mapinfo files in the info folder the blfs in the image folder cleared the cache i patched the map but i think that is where i went wrong i am using the right xex thats unlocked. it would be appricated if someone could give me there pre patched .map file or give me a tut on how to do it. thanks

You open Ascension, go to Edit, Maps and Package, Patches, Apply Patch. All you do after that is fill in the required fields and hit create.

Also try clearing your system cash!

While that could be a cause, I doubt it because they are not in the same lobby, unless the other one just left it or something..

Well, it helps sometimes to do it every now and then if it keeps not working. I had a similar problem a few weeks back. Can you load other custom maps?

Modified mapinfos wouldn't show up if he didn't.

Edit: Does the map have the correct filename? Should be "warfare_halo.map" assuming we are using the same mapinfo.

You open the launch.ini file on your computer with a text editor and change 'contpatch = true' to 'contpatch = false'

Clear system cache?

Try setting it to true, ftp it over to your xbox, boot, set it back to false, re-start, clear cache. Idk if that will work, give it a shot though.

As in, transferring the file to your xbox. If you don't have FTP set up, you can just transfer it however you transfer your maps.
