OK so I will start off by explaining what was supposed to happened. So I saw his post in the BST forum here on XC and I saw that he was trading his XDK for a RGH Slim. What was supposed to happen was we were going to trade. My RGH and a Kinect for his XDK. Everything looked good, I asked for some proof and told him to write a code down on a piece of paper and take a picture of it on top of the XDK, and he did. Communication with this man was excellent and all my questions were answered with in 10-15 mins of sending the messages. The messaging system on this website was rather slow in my mind so I asked for his phone number so we can message on that. And we did, and we took more proof pictures and it all looked very legit. Then came packing up. He had a custom case on his console. So I asked that he removed his case and put on the stock XDK case. And he did, He also changed the ROL and HDD case. He has done allot of work on this console getting it ready for me. Not to mention I got several pictures of him packing it up. So it is now 6/18 the day we were both planning on shipping. He sent the package with his wife to work and she dropped it off at the shop where it would be picked up 6/19 at 7 AM. I shipped UPS and he shipped USPS. After I had shipped that is when the communication speeds died down... allot. I was unable to contact him via phone. and I had almost like a 5-10 min window at 10PM, 11PM, or 12AM to talk to him on this site. He would always login as anonymous so I could not see his last login date. I was thinking about contacting UPS and have them redirect my package back to me... but I figured that everything would be fine. I started to worry about this trade and I asked SEVERAL times for a picture of the shipping receipt and never got one. By then I was lucky if he read my messages at that window at 12AM and replied to them. It is now 6/20 I was very worried and attempted to contact UPS to change the delivery and they said I needed an account number and they were no help. I could not find out how to get an account number at all so I called the place where I had it sent and they said that it is too late and it is already on the truck and out for delivery. Oh and the tracking number he gave to me did not work and USPS had no record of that number. So at 4PM my package got delivered to him and at 6PM when I had some time at the fire department I pulled out my phone to see I had a message from him on this site and it said...

"bro i cant believe u sent me a broken xbox...i got it today it would not turn on or anything i know it takes a little time for it to load the chip but nothing would light up and all.. i tried ur cord and mine. i trusted u and u sent me a broken one... dude im sending back ur stuff and I'm going to try and get them the return to sender if you do get it please send it back.... that's f***ed up man"

That is full on bull bird! I had sent a fully functional Xbox to him and with enough packaging to survive a nuclear attack! (very high drop). It is 6/22 and the USPS truck comes and there is no package for me or one to come. Now I send him the message letting him know I got scammed. I get a reply about his dad had passed away and I feel sorry for him and wait another day. This is now 5 days after he "shipped" with priority mail. Nothing in the mail or on the truck. I suspect that he broke the Xbox and is trying to place the blame on me... but I am not sure I have not seen the console yet. I ask for him to upload a video of it not working and he does not after saying he will. later I demand for him to upload a shipping receipt on Photobucket and he does not. So here I am with NO proof that he shipped the package at all, so I decide to Google his name and I find this post:

Explaining how he got scammed by him. I am giving this person until Tuesday, 1 week after the shipping date, for the package to arrive in the mail or I will be looking into opening up a lawsuit with this person. Oh and I am expecting the console to come back to me sabotaged because i got this message from him and it has happened to others:

"srry i never got the pic to you my dad died lastnight... and you told me you already had the xdk? now ur saying you dont? look im just going to send you back ur stuff i dont think im going to need it anymore. u can just keep thee xdk."

I don't believe the part about I can keep the XDK and he does not need my RGH anymore at all. I think he may have scrapped it for materials and I will be receiving a broken RGH with broken swapped parts in it. But that is just a theory. Once again I will be looking into opening up a lawsuit with this person and if I am lucky and I get some others who claimed they were scammed we can open a group lawsuit. HE ALWAYS HAS THE OPTION TO JUST SEND THE XDK AND I WILL DROP ALL OF THIS. I will keep you all updated.

*7/2 Edit: The reason it did not ship was because my name was not on the package and the handwriting was sloppy. All in all I got the kit.

Status:

XDK: 7/2/12 - The XDK Came In.

RGH: No word about him shipping it back or it's condition.

-RGH Condition: Unknown

Kinect: Unknown, he said it works fine

Me: Happy

Dude that sucks. Considering what you sent him is a large sum of money and that he is doing it to multiple people I would take legal actions against him.

I wish you luck with this guy and hope your RGH comes back unscathed.

Thanks, Not to mention I also traded a Kinect that I got for $120 and the RGH had a 250GB HDD in it.
