Add An Onboard Slim Power Button For Testing Glitch Times!

3 posts in this topic

Back when I was first RGHing my Slim, I noticed this empty, button-shaped header on the motherboard with POWER printed above it.

I decided to solder a small button in there and as I expected, it was a power button! With this button in place, there is no longer a need to awkwardly mess with the faceplace or RF board! The button I chose was even small enough to fit under the plastic DVD shield piece the sits above it which was even nicer.

I didn't see anything about this around the web so let me be the apparent first person I guess: (It took people a while to find out about the front fan header on Xenon boards so I guess this isn't much different.)
