Halo 3 1.2 Ultimate Xdk Help

12 posts in this topic

I have been trying to get the Halo 3 ultimate 1.2 patched xex to run on my kit. the problem is it will not go into H3Unlock if I have used xextool on it to convert it to devkit and xextool freezes on me if I try to use xextool to convert it to devkit after H3Unlock (xextool -md default.xex) Also if I use 360GameHack I get an "Out Of Memory" error. I need this 1.2 ultimate to be able to run on my XDK, any help will be appreciated.

Well thanks for not helping guys XD, that's fine I moved on to Halo REACH.

Sorry for a late response, but why not use an already modded XEX file? A quick Google search led me to this(You'll need to register).

Because directly linking to xex's and other game files is warez.

I don't see how this site's rules have an affect on how he himself can search for one? Also, I didn't directly link to it, so you removed my post wrongfully. The link was to a post on a website that had the download link. Edited by Nobody

It certainly doesn't have an effect. That's why I left the google part of your post. However, we do not even like to be anywhere close to warez.. Even just linking to another site is not ok in my mind. It's one of the few things I do try to enforce.

So if I give you links to websites that have tutorials to make bombs and directions to an airport, thats fine, becuase it's links to other places? And what about the british studently recently extradited from the UK for running a website that linked to copyrighted video content? Unlickly, but is it too much to ask to keep this site warez clear and just focus on the modding? (We have a PM feature, if you really need to talk to him privately).

It depends on the use of the bomb. If it is used for malicious purposes, no.

Yes. The rules say no malicious or pornographical activity. If the website says for fun and the post is to show for that reason, then it would not be malicious.

It's called warez linking, still very illegal. This website could get shut down, and dovahkiin could go to prison with a big ass fine.(hundreds of thousands)

Plus, whoever linked it could go to prison too.

He already quoted me on this, plus, it was not a link to warez, but to another forum.

I'll acknowledge that the debate could probably go either way, but I won't move from where I stand. It's rather dumb on both of our parts. As a result we need a lock
