Has anyone heard anymore news on Project Atlas?

I heard that its going public this week!

If this actually works then i think im going to rent some online for my jtag.

This is just straight disgusting. Even if I knew how to get a modded Xbox online, I still wouldn't do it just because I don't like being a dick and ruining everyone's fun. There is absolutely no reason why you would want a modded Xbox online other than to screw with people. I could maybe see uses for showing friends mods over RTH, but meh. Modding should stay offline: it's about pushing the limits of what a game can do, not cheating in multiplayer games.

And yeah, you have to rent a special console from them for a price that's probably going to be ridiculous.

to my understanding you don't buy their console, all you buy is an amount of months that will allow your console to get online since its a server redirect. you connect to them and if they allow you to go through you will be connected to live. but that doesn't include anything else like your actual live subscription.

Its $500 for a spot, which comes with one week of online time. After that you negotiate a rental price or you share your profit if your doing lobbies.

To my knowledge, this works by sending the data to there server before the xlsp. Same with receiving the data.

I have no doubt that the local modifications will be reversed quickly, but I doubt anyone will be able to make suitable substitute for there server.
