Tutorial on How to edit the Color of your HUD!

Tools needed:

Alteration program

A development kit or Jtag Hacked Xbox 360

Halo 3

A .map to mod

Lets get started:

1: Open up your Alteration Program, and open the .map file you want to mod in Meta Editor. Scroll down to the [chgd] - hud_ui_globals Tag. You should be prompted with these tags;

2: First thing you'll see is a Globals tag,

Global 0 is the Spartan HUD

Global 1 is the Elite HUD

Global 2 is the Monitor HUD

Change it to the one of your choice.

3: Now to edit the HUD! You'll see is says "Red A and Blue A and Green A" this is the colors of the HUD. By changing the codes down, it'll make it less red, by changing it higher, you'll see more red. Make sure you edit all red/blue/green tags for this effect

4: By changing the colors to all all red(?) 0, and all blue(?) 0, and made my green's into a 255(Anything higher won't work), you'll get a Green HUD like this;

5: Once your done editing to your likings, hit the save button, close the map, inject it into your HDD and go start up the map and ENJOY!

---------------

Remember to not editing any codes past 255, It will NOT work!

But theres one problem the aim is always Green :/

that because 1) the green overpowers the red color when it is there or 2) because there is not any red color in the HUD, it just stays green. I way to test this is to not set red to 0 or to leave green at a lower setting than max.
