Couple Of Requests Regarding Site Visuals

I opted for the Xbox Chaos v2.1 Theme and I want to know if there is some way to disable the background. It's very aesthetic but it lags IE in VBox for me. Also after I edit a post there is an annoying orange box to let me know it was edited. I wonder if this could be changed to behave more like the Metro theme. If whoever is in charge of this stuff doesn't know how, I would gladly help.

Edit: Oh yeah, is there any way to stop the auto formatting for topic titles?
