I'm New To This Can I Get Help?

Ok so I am almost done RGHing my 360, I just have to order a JTAG to coolrunner LPT cable which will be in by Monday, but once I am done where should I begin on modding? Should I use RTH? Where should I start after I RGH my 360?

Welcome, if you plan on just screwing around with .map mods go ahead and RTH, but if you plan on releasing mods or saving your mods go with .map modding. Are you completely new to Jtags/RGHs or do you know how to get all the basic stuff (XeXMenu, Dash Launch, etc.)

well xex menu is used to launch xex (Xbox Executable) and dash launch is used to run plugins such as memedit

their are other things out their like rgloader with makes your jtag or rgh run somewhat like a dev kit

if you have any questions about any of those just p.m. me and ill try to help you out

Alright, one more quick one though, here is a pic of one of my QSB's

IMG_0401.JPG

My solder point on the left part (thinnest) of the QSB, I can't quit get the solder to go off the side to connect with the point. Is there a little crevice in the point on the QSB that the solder is able to leak down and make a connection? I don't wanna get my final peice of my RGH stuff and find out I have a bad solder point

bump for possible answer to my soldering question /: lol

It should still work because I also had one similar. If you have low wattage soldering gun, you could press press down on the point lightly in the hole and add more solder don't have it on the board for too long. Make sure to clean up your flux too.

But this pic still should work, if not try it.

Do you have your drivers set up for your nand-x, or jr-programmer?
