Support Halo Reach Maps Wont Load

Okay so let me tell you guys what I am doing: I installed Halo Reach from the disk on my RGH and when I boot the game up on the disk or default.xex the maps will not load including the campaign maps. I tried to install using FSD and XeXMenu v1.1 but they don't work still. Then after failing I tried to play the game via the disk without it installed and it still doesn't load the maps or .map files anyways the only .map file that loads is the mainmenu.map, but also another fact I can select the maps but the say Loading...0% all the time and it never changes. My disk is fine I have tested it on a retail and the maps load fine I also don't have title updates but can put those on easily. So what am I doing wrong? Please help. I just tried Halo 4 and it does the same thing except it says preparing game forever.

Try clearing the game cache on game boot. Hold Up on dpad and A through boot. It should popup a message saying some maintence was completed upon hitting the main menu.

and disable the contpatch for dashlaunch, if you have it enabled.

You guys have great options I will try them I will let you know how it goes. Edit: No nothing worked.

I have no clue on what you just said because I just got my jtag yesterday.

I have the EXACT same problem, (and what ddxcb means is copy that text into notepad and save as a .bat file, and use that for the .xex and ALL .dlls)

and tried EVERYTHING in this thread and no success. i was HOPING to mod Halo: Reach, but now THIS happens. Halo 3 is working GREAT though. Somebod, figure this out!!!!

the maps aren't modded, an ive used mulltiple xex's, including Lord Zedd's Blue flame xex patch.

 

I tried loading with a temporary profile, and the map loaded on the menu, but jumps to a dirty disc error almost immediately after the loading screen comes up. even made a new profile, nothing works.

Is contpatch disabled in dashlaunch?

Maybe try copying the files off the disc again?

 

Otherthing to mention is with fake live enabled, Lord Zedd's blue flame xex won't work until you change your network to local or system link.

 THANK YOU. works after turning off contpatch and RE-selecting network to local or System Link.
