Some pictures showing a few of the things done with the 4 of use that was there.

this event lasted 3 hours, the first hour on last resort and the final two on sandtrap. unfortunately I only have pictures from the last hour, there was much more done such as shooting street cones, plasma grenades, bigwheels, and ect. but enjoy what there is.

need to get some other peoples to learn tricks for real timing and knowing what you can realtime over the network(if we dont have network poking done yet) though so its not always me modding

Wish i Could Of Went But Couldnt enable UPNP since i Got A&TT

But Im Sure ill figure a way around it

we were using xbslink, my connection is a relay connection, meaning i have a second router wirelessly hooked up the the first one so i have to networks i would need to port forward, which neither of them are. and i can still use xbslink to connect to others. the only thing i loose without being fully open is i cant host the group on the program.

I have an idea, it would mean reprogramming Alteration though.

Host:

When you start RTE, there would be a little check box saying "Open RTE to others?" if you check it, a little dialog box comes up and asks you to create a server name and password. 

Client:

Then, on someone else's Alteration, there would be a button saying "Connect to an RTE Server". When the click it, a dialog box comes up asking for a server name and password. The person would enter the given server name and password, and it would connect the the Host's Alteration. Once connected, the client can make changes, when the client hits "poke", it would send a signal to the Host's alteration telling it what to change, and then poke.

 

I don't know how difficult this would be to program, but I think it would work. I don't see why it wouldn't.

there wont be any need to reprogram alteration, all of the modding i did for this event was using assembly and we plan on making a network poker that will allow one person to poke everyone elses console. just we dont have it programmed yet in the program.

and there is versions of alteration that had a kind of network poking already.
