Urgent Help Needed.

Okay so Im trying to install my soft mod and ive had hell. I don't have action replay so im using a youtube tutorial that allows you to hotswap your ide cables to and from xbox.

Well its not working, but I have discovered a way that I could get xplorer360 to read my og xbox hdd. I just need to know where to put the unleash x dash. If I do it this way will it load properly.

 

I can fully transfer to and from my xbox, so if I install the dash manually, would it load?
Sorry if this is the wrong section but I didn't know where else to post this.
