This is my first major shader mod, still in progress. I'm hoping anyone who downloads the patch would feel free to give me criticism, or suggestions on the mod.

Only thing I can say is make more of these shader mods. It's awesome to see the community still going forth and tuning halo to their liking.

 

Me, well... Can't do anything on the newer engine.

Still learning and that having to heat up the fricking GPU of my last Jtag in order for it to boot is annoying as hell.

looks pretty cool. do you also have the shaders setup to be highly reflective?

as well you should include your pictures from the other thread in this post so others can see the map a lot easier since there is only one picture in the download section for it.

Nope, didn't directly change the reflectiveness, but I think it would not work the best if they were highly reflective, because the image it uses for the reflection is the cubemap of the map, and the image this creates stays the same regardless of where you are on the map. Example (with zen_gold, but the same happens regardless of the shader):

Tonight turned into four days later, haha.

I did test it though and I like what I see ;)

Were you thinking about adding weapon effects?

Or weapon skins/marble skins might be classy
