Support Halo 3 Sprint/jetpack/lunge Equipment Mod?

Well I saw a very old video from darkshallfall that showed all the equipment unlocked in halo 3. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Maybe some pointers into where I can start? Also if you know how to change button layouts in the .map it would be also be useful

Would you care to link the video? Doing a quick search shows nothing about a legitimate looking sprint/jetpack/lunge in Halo 3.

 

And as far as I'm aware, you can only modify button layouts in Halo 4.

Zedd I tried hard to locate it, it was on foundry and beyond that I don't remember anything else about it.

There isn't any room in eqip for there to be those things in an official sense, so it had to have been something that looked like them for the video.

Without the video, I can't say what exactly they did to pull it off, but the "jetpacks" I saw when looking was either giving the spartan flying physics from a monitor, or driving an invisible Hornet.

I think it was either Xerax, Dead, or Doom, but I remember seeing a video by one of those guys that had something to do with a Halo 3 jetpack...

I imagine sprint would perhaps spawn a custom power up with increased speed?

And lunge would probably have to be taken from the Energy Sword in some ways...

 

So OP, look into those things, you could probably recreate it, but I imagine it would be quite hacky.

No this isn't remotely what I'm thinking of. That is a vehicle mod. One of the ways I was thinking was modifying the animation of when you throw equipment to make your spartan run. Any pointers for this route would be great.

Perhaps swap trip mine for a custom effect orb (the yellow one, cant remember its name now) that would increase the players speed by 25% for a specific amount of time? 

 

Was the best I was able to do last night anyways.

could change the crouch height to the same as standing and make the crouch speed faster than the walking no crouching though thats the only down fall thats what ive done so far yesterday
