Halo Reach Xex Rsa+Header Checks Removed Help

I am having a ridiculously difficult time finding a proper XeX with both RSA and Map Header Checks removed. I have attempted to use:

 

-Lord Zedd's "Blue Flames" XeX Patches (Both NoTU and TU1)

-ReachUnlock1.2

 

And even with numerous Google searches i have yet to find an XeX that ACTUALLY WORKS. The only one that allows any modding to happen doesen't remove Map Header Checks. If anyone could help me on this it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Could you explain the steps you took to apply Zedd's "Blue Flames" patches? They are certainly known to be working, because everyone on this site uses them.

Yeah I don't doubt that it works but I have tried it atleast 5 times now...

 

1. Copy my clean .xex into the reach notu folder (have also tried an .xex I downloaded incase mine was buggered)

2. Go into properties and uncheck read only

3. Run the .bat

4. It says everything was succesful

5. Copy the new .xex over to my HDD

6. Open a single player map in Assembly making sure it isn't read only

7. Edit the spartans bipd FOV from 0 to 90, says it all successful

 

When I boot the game using the modded .xex it still shows "failed to load content" when loading one of the maps I modded

 

I've tried doing this same thing using ReachTool 1.2 and I know it works to a certain extent because it removes the opening videos like it's supposed to but I still get the failed to load error.

 

It's weird cause I've gotten FOV mods to work in Halo 3 and ODST using the same method

have you checked your dashlaunch ini to make sure that contpatch = false

this check can prevent maps from loading

Even with the contpatch = false I'm still having the same issue, any ideas ?

Use Zedd's blue flames patcher and make sure your read only is checked off on your clean xex. There's not much else you have to do.

I did that, I have the blue flame and all the armor but it still wont let me play .map mods. Maybe I'm doing something wrong when patching the maps I don't know.
