Where Can I Find A Halo 3 Xex That Will....

29 posts in this topic

Ok so I need an xex that will unlock every armor including the bungie chestplate, and I DO NOT want an xex that gives me aimbot, aside of the an xex that allows the use of RTH! If anyone knows of such an Xex or one similar please post a link...Thanks alot guys!

So overall I need a Halo 3 Xex that can....

-Support RTE

-Unlocks all armors including Bungie chestplate

- And one that DOESN'T have aimbot

Thanks in advanced

The PPFs in this: http://www.xboxchaos.com/files/file/113-halo-3-ultimate-xex-ppf-patches/ is what you are looking for. We can only offer the patches because distributing the entire XEX is considered warez and against the site rules.

It is also worth noting that secure sockets (What you call "Supports RTE") is no longer the norm for realtime editing so that said the above patch does not support it. Everyone here uses the XBDM dashlaunch plugin or a dev kernel along with a copy of the 360 SDK for realtime editing purposes.

Thank you... How do I apply the patch? Is the new method you listed... Would there be tutorials on it?

Put a clean default.xex in the folder where you extracted the patch and run the batch file. Make sure it is not read only.

There are plenty of tutorials around, but you will need Xbox 360 Neighbourhood setup in order to connect your xbox for RTE.

On your PC, as in copy your default.xex off your Xbox 360 and into the folder with the patch in it.

Ok so all I have to do is run it in the folder? And.... there are 3 different versions...

NoTU

Mythic TU3

TU3

Which one do I choose?

Depends do you have any title updates? If you just ripped it off the campaign and multiplayer disk (normal), then NoTU should work fine.

If you're using the Mythic disk then I assume Mythic TU3 would be the one for you?

Yeah probably... And when I make maps how do I mod them without changing the default ones??

Well I know there is a way of creating seperate map info and blf files, in order to make your modded map a whole new map. But I haven't done it myself. Are you using Assembly?

Yes what I mean is for example I make a nice modded map but I don't want to overwrite my .map file... So i want to select my modded map without overwriting default map

Currently incorrect. The pull request is there for the mapinfo updates but has not been merged in.

Easiest way is to just make a backup of the file and restore it later.
