Actually there is a fileshare bug with Plague sadly, where the old version and the new version have the exact same links... so go ahead and download it from my fileshare AbandonedCashew, it's named "Plague." (yes with the period after it.)

Did you use the same CON file? If so it'll cause that problem as it's the same ID. (doubt you did, just checking).

It was a while ago so I can guess that my less knowledgeable self didn't. But I actually did use a different container for the latest copy.

How to fix the bug 

 

Remove Old One

Rename New One like Plague Temporary

Remove it

Rename it to Plague

Then Upload it. 

 

Had to do this to a few files of my own really. That explains why people are getting your old one still.

you should make another option that undeletes or undoes an object through Dom terminals

like making a Dom barricade close back down.

I could do a lot actually to Plague with the skills I have picked up since the release. However, they are going into a very different and original flood oriented gametype to come.

Several invasion functions are broke, however it could be done.  I'm currently working on something else atm.  Maybe you or someone else could make this gametype. I sort of like this idea however.

I could do a lot actually to Plague with the skills I have picked up since the release. However, they are going into a very different and original flood oriented gametype to come.

could you add waypoints that only the humans can see, and when they walk into it the waypoint it despawns .

I've tried downloading it several times but it has the same exact problems like that one guy depicted. 

 

" I'm having trouble getting the Dominion labels to work.
 
What I want to do is have a massive door that a one player will have to "hack" by holding the Dominion Terminal for a full minute. On a smaller scale this can also be used to have rooms full of weapons that have to be "hacked" first before they can be entered.
 
The problem is no matter what I set the User Data to, the terminal automatically activates and the door automatically disappears just by entering the boundary. No button holding. Instant activation. Not what I expected with a 60 for User Data. They also have the same spawn sequence, 1. Turrets don't build with the dom_fortifcation label when linked with a terminal, but barricades do. So do monitors. They instantly turn on as soon as I enter the boundry around the Dominion terminal."
 
by the way, I made a map dedicated to this game type! if I new how to put it in a link than I would have, could you help me?

I had the same problem with Hybrid trying to replace an old version with a new one on fileshare... what I did to solve it was (after compiling/saving to flash drive on pc) load the gametype in retail, and hit "save as new", with a different name, by adding whatever version it is at the end.

Hello Fellows!

 

I have a Request. Can somebody make a mod out of the Plague mod where you as a Flood can choose between a 5 meter Flood a

7 m Flood and a 15 m Flood? I want to Forge an Attack on Titan Map and it would be so awesome if some one can make the Titan mods. Here is a Picture of what i meant with the Different Heights of the Floods. And as the Alpha Flood you start as a 60 m Flood which is nearly invulnerable but very slow and also cant jump. Would be cool if someone answers. :D

Essentially, this could work with Plague. However, since I've personally been brainstorming on ideas on how to make this sort of gametype work for a while now, I can tell you what I've come up with.

  • If there are Flood on varying sizes, the damage and health settings should all be the same, with changes to speed to match the corresponding size of the Flood
  • If Flood are a uniform size, disable jumping for the Flood and have a trait zone at the neck region of the Flood that allows humans to only do damage at the neck. I'm not entirely sure if there's any other way to limit fatal hits to the Flood to a certain region of the body.
  • The humans should be shrunk down to a miniature size. You can't make the Flood too big because then it wouldn't be playable, so shrinking the humans is the overall best option. It would also make the maps for the gametype easier to forge, because you would need to use less objects to recreate large scale environments for the humans
  • Humans should spawn with swords that are also scaled down to match the size of the humans. With normal size swords, the miniature humans would just look silly.

Yes this sounds great. You are Right the 60 m Flood would be to freakin big but it would be good enough if it is a little bit higher than a wall colluseum to match with the anime. Making the Humas small is great! you can make the jump height high and add a thruster pack to their equipment to simulate the 3d manouver gadgets.Also wouldn it be cool if you fuse two of the forge columns on the humans so it looks like the 3d manouver gear? would it be possible to have dual wielding swords just for the esthetics xD? and another question is it possible to tweak the movment animations of the flood so that it looks like they are moving slower? ( because in the godzilla mod its just silly) and also the huge model of the flood in first person is annoying too is it possible to remove? many qouestions and ideas i know XD. But if all that doesnt work ill be happy just with the different size Flood titans.
