Minecraft
Halo & MineCraft Combined

11 posts in this topic

What's That, Halo and Minecraft put together. Yep. I'm certain you've heard of it already but if you haven't, I thought you might like to know.

People Who May Enjoy this

LordCrusnik1986 Start Building your Maps tomorrow in MInecraft, of course there are limitations in this, but this can design terrain and other things for you and might inspire you.

LordZedd: I know you don't have your rgh/jtag online anymore, but I'm certain you could make some interesting mods with this.

Matt/Synth92 Don't Know, I'm certain something in this could interest even you.

It comes with quite a lot for actually less than the halo map packs themselves, intriguing enough. lol.

Of course you won't be battling it out, than again you might be, so you might want to do some mine cart rides, or something. Might take awhile to get around some these maps.

Also, In need of some USB Mods and Tool Works, OpryzeLP helps with that and works wonderfully

I never took them online, I copied the gametypes/maps over to retail via system link to put on my fileshare.

Not really a Minecraft fan myself though.

I have never played Minecraft but this is really tempting me to buy Minecraft with the Halo DLC.

Umm, okay than.

Matt: I was reluctant to play MC myself as I was like, who would want to build with 1x1 blocks all day. But after 1,000 youtube video's & redstone stuff, I was in. So started playing it & fell in love with the possibilities. Hard part & challenge is making redstone & pistons work the way you want to. Plus OpryzeLP has a mod tool I linked that allows for crazy things in it. He also apparently discovered so cool that it requires making another tool.

Looks really cool, but I prefer to play Minecraft on the PC (I have the 360 version as well, but it's not as fun in my opinion due to the lack of mod support). Anyone know if there's a decent Halo texture pack for the PC version? I did a bit of searching around but nothing looked too great.

Sadly no, I was looking as well & all I found were halo mods. Which were cool & all, but texture wise is not. I wonder if you could not convert it from xbox360 to pc like opryzelp does with savegame.dats. Highly doubt it & even if you could, I'm betting their is a security on it. You are not the only pc player that wants some xbox 360 texture packs.

If your looking for halo and minecraft combined, Look up " Murder miners" it's a indie game and only cost $1. IMO it's the best indie game they have

I know that you can extract the texture files rather easily from the MC360 version. I'd recommend downloading the trial, And just looking t it in yor favourite hex editor until you find the textures you're looking for.

Although it is a bit tedious.
