General Official E3 2014 Discussion Thread

After seeing the press conferences at E3 this year, what are your thoughts? Feel free to discuss any of the games that were announced, but please be respectful of others' opinions.

 

Here is a list of most of the trailers that were shown.

 

I'll start with some of my thoughts:

• *haloing intensifies*

• The Division is looking pretty great. Hopefully it won't turn out like Watch_Dogs did, with a lot of people being massively disappointed.
• The new ODST game looks awesome.
• Crackdown, now with 100% more cloud.
• Sunset Overdrive is definitely worth considering.
• GTA V PC port. Nuff said. #pcmasterrace
• Batman: Arkham Knight is looking really good.
• Really looking forward to INSIDE, made by Playdead. I thoroughly enjoyed LIMBO, their first game.
• More interesting indie games on the way (from Sony's conference): Hotline Miami 2 and No Man's Sky. MS showed brief moments of a bunch of [email protected] games, but some of them had been announced already.

Just Some thoughts:

-Waited for SWBF3

-Glad Halo 5 Got Pushed Back and its great halo 1-4 is coming to the Xbox One.

-GTA V hope theres some kind of trade in deal like cod and BF4 had.

-Glad the original company is making Crackdown 3.

-Guess its cool their remaking CoD 4 again.

-Assassins Creed Unity looks pretty sweet with the multiplayer system.

-Farcry 4 looks like it might have the same system as assassins creed with inviting friends.

-Hope the new mass effect is great.

-Hope dead island 2 is good and not like DI:Riptid it was mainly a addon from what i played of it.

Battle Field: Hardline looks pretty good cant wait to play that one.

and other games like the Witcher 3 and RainBow Six look and so many others look great.

Some thoughts:

• Halo: A must-buy and the only reason to get a Xbox One.
• Gta V: In my honest opinion the game is way too overhyped. I pretty much completed the campaign once and never touched the game again. But now that it's finally coming out for PC ("winter 2013", my ass!) and has better visuals I might give it another try.
• Mirrors Edge 2: Can't wait to play it. Probably my most anticipated game.
• Star Wars Battlefront: I'm a bit disappointed and worried that the devs still weren't able to show us any actual gameplay. I mean the game has been in development for several years by now and I think it's time to prove that they've been working on something. Nevertheless, I'm extremely hyped for this game.
• CoD: As some of you may already know, I'm a huge CoD fanboy. As long as the multiplayer is not like CoD Ghost's and comes close to previous games, I might buy it.
• The Division: Looks like a fun co-op game to play with your friends.
• Batman: Damn, that driving sequence looked good.
• AC: boring
• Battlefield: boring

• Halo Collection is neat, but probably won't be getting it unless it comes to PC, an xbone falls out of the sky, or the xbone gets hacked.
• Still not interested in Destiny, just wanna mod it because the engine.
• Oh hey Crackdown hope its better than the second
• New Batman looks neat too, but never really got into the others so...
• Dead Island with another cool trailer that the game probably won't live up to.
• There was something at the Sony conference whose logo had a SKATEBOARDING GRIM REAPER, which is kickass.
• They didn't show more D4 but I guess its playable on the floor.
• Sunset Overdrive trolled me with the trailer but it still looks like it's trying too hard, also movement is horribly slow.
• Sony teasing me with Vib Ribbon was not cool.
• I guess the new Dance Central includes DLC importing from 360 which scares me if they ever bring back Rock Band and do that because of the whole getting banned thing and losing my DLC licenses in the process.
• Everything else was pretty poopy with announcing exclusive DLC before the game is even out and whatnot. Nothing else I can think of at the moment.

• Halo collection: wanna experience the halo 2 mulitplayer again, and it's halo so... I also have an xbone.

The crew: It will be fun to see where this is going, If you could get into a race around the USA, that would be insane.

Gta 5: agree with snipe on this one.

Halo 5: it's halo.

The division: looks interesting.

Star Wars battlefront: super hyped for this one. Is it me or are graphics getting too realistic?

 Destiny: it's Bungie, I want to see how it turns out. And I want to look into it for modding (like Zedd said)

would there be a way to convert xbox 1 halo master chief collection to 360 jtag lol so we could mess with stuff also i doubt im buying xbox 1 for a long time :/ i dont got the money on me at the moment

That'd be like porting Halo 4 over to the original Xbox. It's not possible.
