Glitch Duel Wielding Help! :)

Hello!

I thought that this might be the best place to ask this question, so I'll continue;

-I have this really weird glitch with my JTAG, and it happens whenever I duel wield in halo 3. The console crashes, and sends me back to FreeStyle. This haplens on both the RTE.xex and the default.xex. I have no TU's installed.

Any help??

is it only dual wielding, is there anything else in the game that causes it to crash, or only on certain maps(if this even mattered)?

 

since something like this if it happens on different xex's it really makes no sense. Ideally it could be a memory issue however the xex should have it predefined so i cant think of anything else.

Something similar happened to me. It would freeze and crash when I tried to play campaign. What you should do is re-rip the disc and try it again.

Okay, I'll try that

And for DeadCanadian, I'll have a try with AMD's patched .xex for the ai, and see if that work's. The only map that I've encountered crashing was gamecheat's "mp_testbox", because it would glitch when going into Forge mode.

{EDIT}: Tried it a couple of days ago, and it worked! Then tried it today and guess what? It didn't

Just an update on this issue, incase anyone else experiences it;

 

This issue is VERY strange. From what I've gathered so far, it's almost as if its to do with the temperature of my JTAG. Usually, if the JTAG is 55+ Degrees, it works. I honestly have no idea how this would affect the game, but from what I've experienced, this seems to be the only viable answer.
