Any update on this guys?

destiny runs almost entirely from the servers, so unless people can make personal servers it probably will stay online-only.

They used to do it for older halo beta's, i think Halo 3 MP Beta, and maybe Epsilon? <-- Not sure on the latter

I will make a comment here. As far as I know, we haven't really bothered with the full game. I don't see anything happening soon because there isn't a point to running the maps offline unless you can mod the assets.

At the same time though, there's no point in looking into modding the assets if you can't run maps offline.
