The Beta is now free to download on Xbox for Xbox Live Gold members. It's open for the PS3 and PS4 systems as well but I'm not familiar with the Playstation platform. Now's your chance if you've been wanting to play but didn't have a code.

Yes. I still have one of my 3 codes as well. I am going to keep them....maybe a few years down the line someone will want to know how to get the Destiny beta or something idk

I feel like the Destiny Beta was short and just not as good as people said it was going to be. I mean the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is almost a month long and I'm stoked for it, now that is a proper beta, giving us enough time to play and enjoy it, then being able to find all of the bugs and tell the developers about them so they can fix them.

the halo 5 beta is also about a year before halo 5 comes out and what you play there isn't going to anything like in the final game. They are using stats from the master chief collection to figure out which games multiplayer style they are going to base halo 5's multiplayer off of and then in that beta figure out what people want even more so they have plenty of time to drastically change it if they need to. 

 

the destiny beta went 10 days which is similar to a lot of betas and is mostly just for major bugs and server testing. it doesn't need as much time.
