Large Maintenance Announcement

This is a notice that a bunch of maintenance will be performed on this site next Saturday (August 2nd).  While none of the maintenance will cause a frontend change, it should improve security and stability.  The main purpose of the maintenance is to prepare for future versions of the forum software that runs this website.  Some of this maintenance was already completed a couple weeks ago.
 
 
The reason this announcement is being made is this will cause several hours of downtime.  I don't have a very specific duration of how long it all will take since many parts depend on other parts.  I anticipate starting maintenance in the afternoon.

We have survived the maintenance!  You can now resume your usual activities.  If you would like to share your maintenance day stories, do so in this thread!

Took a full Windows Defender scan on my pc and then played some old 360 demos.

I've noticed how well I've kept my SSD clean and tidy. It's almost the opposite for my other 3 HDDs I have. Oh well.

Windows Defender, oh dear.

I like Windows Defender. It took like 5+ hours for a full scan though, but I wanted to clean up my PC since it has been awhile. Going to be defragging my HDD soon. It is gonna take awhile also to defrag considering I got a 2tb HDD.

This is just my opinion, I don't fully trust Windows Defender. I suggest also scanning your computer with Marlware bytes.
