Changing your profile picture really sucks on this site. I accidently removed my PP and now i cant get it back because of that stupid 250kb. I mean common you guys need to get it higher. Nvm i got a new one.

I don't really think 250kb is an unreasonable size limit as long as you manually scale down your image before uploading it and use a format like PNG or JPEG.

You should be able to upload a PP without manually scaling it. that's just my thought.

I agree. Also sometimes I feel the file size is a tad to small...I have some pictures that are 50 mb.....

This is more a limitation of IPB.  Adding that kind of image processing would be difficult.

 

EDIT: You could use gravatar's for this kind of stuff.  They have much better PP support.
