Lurker (Slenderman) Gametype suggestions. (Cancelled)

So I recently found the motivation to work on a creepy gametype. My friend recommended that I make a Slender mode, and so thinking that was a good idea, I went to work. I currently have planned teleportation (0% speed) with three distances that are toggle-able via melee (thanks Matt). Next there is the objective; all notes must be collected throughout the map to win. Every note has a unique message that displays for a certain time as a hostile message. Notes can have a probability of spawn (thanks Thunder), where some may or may not be in that round. Now there are the mechanics... Being too close to Slendy and looking at him from relatively near distances will inflict a loud noise, which progresses until death. The Lurker (Slendy) cannot teleport where humans are looking, and cannot teleport when he is being watched.
These are what I have written/ plan on writing, but what I do not know how to do is check if the Lurker (Slendy)'s teleport destination is in a wall or the ground, and to keep him on the ground after he teleports. I also need suggestions for general gameplay atmosphere. Post your thoughts!

I played a lot of slender & others wanted to make a game-type for their slender maps. Whole point of slender is to have one life, one strong flood that moves slower than the humans & the humans have to survive. Humans & flood don't have AA's and flood has sword of course. Flood is stronger, almost Invincible & humans are weaker but faster, if they grouped togther they could possible kill the flood but than the humans would have to die, so if in a way to make it so if they kill the last flood would start a new round would be a good start, Most maps are built for this game-type in dark no lighting area's.

 

I know you probably want to make it better, and I'm trying to kind of let you know the point of it which you probably already know. If it was me working on it, I'd figure away to make everyone see with Promethean Vision already equipped & on in start, & have the flood monster look big, scary, different in a way, but more scary than it is. Maybe have an option that attaches forge items to the flood player so they can build the scary monster. Than have a sound playing non-stop that sounds like the flood or something deep. lastly, figure a way to make it so if the humans accidentally kill the strong flood, it would start a new round. 

 

But you can do whatever you want, I was just giving some advice I've been told by other slenderman lovers. Best one to ask I think would be zerker24 on here or lazy algorithm on the console.

Well if you read what I was saying.. I mentioned that this is different, extremely close to the PC game, with teleportation instead of movement. I've already made a Slender mode in H4 with ~9,000 downloads. But I want to create something real, not just slow flood with a sword and high shields. Not sure what I'm getting at but Ill take suggestions for *this* gametype (not non-modded ones).

The method of "teleportation" Clay is describing won't use the hidden Armour Ability on Harvest, he is going to use Megalo.

Well if you read what I was saying.. I mentioned that this is different, extremely close to the PC game, with teleportation instead of movement. I've already made a Slender mode in H4 with ~9,000 downloads. But I want to create something real, not just slow flood with a sword and high shields. Not sure what I'm getting at but Ill take suggestions for *this* gametype (not non-modded ones).

 

I realize it is going to be different but if you had actually read I also suggested you should use promethean vision in someway to make it darker, so it actually is more scary. Slender was designed to give you the goosebumps but also be fun. But you completely ignored my suggestion to make it scary and only read want you wanted to read as you thought it was redundant as you already made an 9,000 download slender mod. I don't care how many downloads or if you already done it, I was giving you a suggestion like you had asked.

Nah I didnt ignore it, I get that its gotta be scary, because I know what Slender is. Forcing xray is impossible, and I was simply addressing that your suggestions were mere trait modifications that I have already done.

Anyway this gametype has potential, but I cant get a boundary to face the correct direction so I might just make it open-source and leave it alone. I have basically retired from big projects to small requests to fill the last gaps in the customs community.

If the MCC is mod-able... Then boy do I have some creations in store!

So you want a suggestion of something that has not been done yet. Hmm. Sucks you can't force promethean vision. ;(  I do know everyone likes to see things happen in-game though. Hence why I made a hill that scaled objects a mod of mine. Not certain why, they just to see the changes if this helps any at all. Not certain, but I'm hoping MCC which is on xbone will have a file-share download files available from the 360. Highly Doubt it but I'm hoping so that is.
