General Halo Beta Request

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anybody happened to somehow have the Halo 2 E3 Campaign Demo/Beta... I've always wanted to play it, ever since I first saw it on my Halo CE extras back in the day.

 

I know its kind of a stretch, considering I've never heard of anyone having it, but I figured I might as well ask since a lot of people have publicly released other rare demos/betas like Epsilon 

 

UPDATE: My bad, this should probably be in the Halo 2 section, if a mod could please move it that'd be awesome. Thank you.

I figured, but still thought I'd ask anyways.

I know it could have been just a pre rendered build, but you never know.

 

I don't know why someone wouldn't release it though, its not like it would hurt. (unless you wanna seem like a big shot I suppose lol)

There may be a way...

Have to pull a few strings though and cross my fingers.

But most likely you could only play the first two levels but there would be a lot of glitches and lag that would make the game suck.

That's what is rumored but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't spend the time fixing this technological mess of a demo.

It wasnt smoke and mirrors. It ran on a developers xbox just fine. The problem was they couldnt build big environments like they wanted with the engine they had at the time. so they had to rework it. It would still work if booted.

I hear people say its fake and other people say it isn't. People who say it works said it was a very unstable build.

Frank O'Connor said that 343 had the build for the demo, but he then went on to explain that it ran on a completely different engine, and the build itself was very unstable. He said that the work they would need to put into it probably wouldn't be worth it.

 

That's still not to say that if we don't stop asking them for it, they won't release it

 

*Also, knowing how 343 is with their community, they'll probably release it as a bonus for people who purchase a DLC pack. They're never out to please the fans, only to make the money

You're referring to the multiplayer beta with zanzibar I believe. Its public, pretty much.
