Pelican and phantom magnet things

Is there any way for the player to use those magnet things that the pelicans and phantoms use to carry vehicles? I'd very much like to know how to do it if there should be a way and also, how do I mod my character with assembly?

I dont know about the magnet but what i do know is how to mod the character

 

If you want to make it invincible go to the hlmt tag of the bipd. Like spartans.bipd in there in asssembly go down and you will see hlmt.

 

If you go down you will see some flags saying 'Deathless' e.g. I will tell you more if you pm me.

Fucking Pelican and Phantom magnets, How do they work?

 

Its actually just a script that attaches two objects together.

So something like (objects_attach "pelican1" "cargo" "rocket_hog2" "attach_point")

In Halo 1 it would actually just put the vehicle in a seat as you would with a marine or player.

For the character modding i mean like swapping what i'm playing as and such, and so I take it I wouldn't be able to use the magnets as such then unless i new how to script?

It still kinda works that way in Reach, there is a cargo seat where the "magnet" is that the game forces vehicles into via script.
