360 debugger?

5 posts in this topic

I've been doing a lot of PS3 modding, they use a very nice debuuger that can view memory in real time and edit as well. I've been using Peek&Poke and it's sluggish and difficult to say the least :/ is there a decent debugger out there for 360?

if you have the sdk installed with a full installation alongside visual studio (2008 or depending on your sdk version) on your computer and the appropriate plugins on your xbox you can use the official debugging tools that range from system diagnostics to memory reading and etc.

I did the full installation and got the plugins set for VS10, only issue with that is the game has to be frozen to view the memory :/

only other tool is the advanced memory poking tool in ascension.

Yeah, I've used that but it's basically just a multi game RTM tool. There's no memory debugging or mem viewer
