I've been interested in modding for a few years, but have little-to-no knowledge on how to mod or read code or whatever. I'm here because I want to learn.

Welcome :smile: You don't need coding knowledge to mod, but it can be helpful at times. Many modders in the community have little/no coding knowledge, and some like myself learned after being in the modding scene for a while.

How should I go about learning to mod. I mean, I was told there are people amazing people here, and with time and dedication I could be taught a lot. Is there anybody in particular who can (and is willing to) teach me the basics?

I was also told to avoid Caboose

 

 

I still need help with the basics so if you get help, bring me along too and also, amazing is an understatement especially with Lord Zedd, Gamecheat13 and AMD to name a few.

Lurking is great, but don't hesitate to ask questions, especially if you've tried to make progress towards an objective! :)
 

Check out the the tutorials section, I found it rather helpful! 

 

I think some more video walkthroughs would definitely help people though ^^

Welcome to the forum. Don't be afraid to ask questions or for help. One thing we always say is just try your best at something and you will eventually get better. Also what anime is that in your profile picture?
