Fly a Phantom and shoot its gun

I'm wondering if there is a way that you could shoot the phantom dropship's gun while it is aiming for you and while you're flying the phantom. In other words, the gun is not shooting for you, you are the one that decides when to shoot it while it aims at different directions than the phantom itself.

to fly a phantom you need to make the driver seat enterable, and then add the "gunner" flag to it.

then add the "parent's primary weapon" flag to the phantom turret.

 

it is not possible to control the turret independently while controlling the main vehicle.

What I did was swap weapon in chin gun vehicle with pelican pod then make pelican rocket pod have ai so it shoots for I only problem is pelican gun is in 3 round bursts

Your forgot something.

Change the "Animation Label" under the "Seats" Block to something else

like

"warthog_d" or "ghost_d"

Is there any way that you could make the phantom's gun shoot for you? I tried changing ai_generic_turret to ai_generic on both the spawned actor and built-in gunner. But it did not work
