as well personally from what i've seen of scoping guns, it is not going to feel like a halo with some of the main mechanics changed like that.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal considering we are going to see the gameplay today anyway. But rules are rules even if its a day early  . 

 

For people thinking that the scene with the BR is aiming down site I would in my own, and apparently others around the Internets, opinion believe its a different animation for zoom. So no need for the pitch forks just yet.

 

Confirmed descoping is back so I am one happy Halo fan. Will wait for final verdict after today and I personally get a chance to play it.

Apparently the ADS is just a different zoom animation. Hip fire will still work like we expect it to.

depending your situation, I've always found cod is more about the multiplayer where as halo personally being a large single player gamer they could keep the original game play mechanics while continuing on the story. Where as now the games are getting to the point where they dont play the same so when im playing the story to see how it continues its as if its not even related to the original games I started playing.

 

As well it would depend how you see changes to a game, where as some of the larger ones they have put in are more mechanical than gameplay which I feel lead more to a different game rather than adaptation and improvement to what we already had.

New vehicles and new weapons - new maps make the game different maybe even new game types like in reach they added invasion  it was my favorite game type . I heard forge was different too they don't need ADS :/

For me, they started going downhill when they made Reach, which was made by 343 alone.

I probably will play halo 5 once just like I played halo 4 once and will go back to Halo 3 and ODST and play modded campaigns

Wrong. Bungie 100% developed Reach. 343 did a few gametypes that were added well after Reach was released.
