I personally chose fans on the processor. Microsoft is finally trying to fix engineering errors made about 5 years ago. This was long overdue.

I was going to trade my elite for the new 360 but they didn't let me cuz the power supply wasn't a microsoft one :thumbsd:

It's capable of doing so. Microsoft has stated they will release a update sometime to improve Kinect, also enabling finger and facial detection.
