Alright im having a problem with alteration myself. ill try to explain it as the picture i will provide doesnt show much. I have Windows 7 btw. And yes i do run it as administrator and this is what happens. it opens just fine then when i click one of the tabs at the top, like file, it freezes then makes 3 other windows of the program each of which is a small line here is the picture:

Right click exe - Properties - Compatibility - Disable desktop composition. Problem solved, probably a bit too late lol.

I understand that this is a relitively old topic. But just wanting to help anyone who is not registered to this forums and are about to down the Alteration.zip file...don't bother. Does not work. I have tried opening the file in Winrar (and get a Unknown Method error) and I have opened it in Windows Explorer and I get a error code of 0x800004005, and I have even tried WinZip and I get a "Failed to Extract" error. Either the Zip file is corrupt...or....it is a fake file. Unless someone can reupload this and it can be varified for viruses...I am going to say that the OP posted a corrupt or fake zip file. Like I said..I have tried three different extraction methods and got basically same issue.

Try re-downloading. I just tried this and can verify that it works through Windows Explorer on Windows 7.

Nope not working. I tried WinRar and also Windows Explorer on Windows 7 Home Premium. Both still not working. Here is the error I get when using Windows Explorer on Windows 7:

I have also tried repairing it using WinRar and still would not work. I can open and extract other ZIP & RAR files no problem.. But this ZIP file will not work. Can someone please recompile the ZIP file as a RAR file? I would like to test out a idea I have.

Hmm...So nobody knows what is going on? Swell.....Well better get back to Google then....even though it was not working with me before. If anyone knows how to fix or solve the problem I am running into, then.....post it here I guess.

Alteration is kind of dead around here. Wait for assembly which will support all the 360 halo's. Should be ready in a few weeks.
