How to spawn AI through weapon and how to make them your allies?

Like the title says, I'd like to know how to make AI spawn through weapon firing (I.E. Magnum).

Also, how to make them your allies, because all AI I spawn with the classic method are my enemies no matter which is my team color.

 

Why spawn AI allies through weapons? I want to try it for Firefight, which is obviously not Forgeable and you can't spawn "respawn points" there.

 

"Have you tried it?" Yes, but the gun spawns nothing at all. Just the smoke it normally emits when firing.

Instead of using a spawn point use a weapon 

 

For teams on Halo Reach I don't think you can do anything about that.

 

 

Step 1:

First open a campaign mission and extract any [char] tag(s) you want, I'll be doing the Brute [char].
Give Assembly a minute to extract the selected [char] tag(s). 

 

TIP:

extracting the [char] tag brings the [bipd] tag as well, but some [char] tags are variants of the original and some may not contain the [bipd] tag it's always safe to just extract the main base [char] for what AI you want and if you have to have a different variant then change it in the [hlmt]. 

 

once you have the [char] tag(s) you extracted somewhere leave them and open the map you want the AI to be in.

I'll be opening Sandbox.

 

 

Than go the a weapons firing effect go to "Anticipated Tag Class Note" change the ascii to obje (or char I forgot) than search for the char

If it could be done on Halo 3, why not Reach?

How do people make AI allies on Halo 3? It should work for Reach too.

Halo: Reach maps are built a bit different then Halo: 3 maps.

It's because megalo fucks it up. It works in Halo 3 cause there is no megalo.

The only way it could be possible is with scripts.

Well, how do you make teams for AI?

At least in Halo 3.

I'll try it for Halo Reach too and see what happens.

In halo 3 you go to the char and change the actor type, there's a list so see which option is friendly for what team.

Trust me ive tried pretty much everything there is absolutely no way to get the ai to be on your team on a mp halo reach map. ive messed around and got friendly ai on firefight and campaign maps (aside from the ones they already place for you) but even then like they said thats only because they use an ai allegiance script for campaign and multiplayer. now if you can figure out a way to script in halo reach youre in business

I just said that tho. And there is a way to edit scripts but it takes too much time to for the smallest thing, so it isn't worth.

Well, then how do you do this for Firefight?

I want to have Hunters on my team.

I never specified Multiplayer.
