How To Make An Airstrike Gun!

First I'd like to thank deadcanadian for telling me where the projectile coordinates were found and thank me for guessing the other stuff :P

NOTE: This works best with the flak cannon the rocket launcher usually blows up before hitting the ground

Alright first open up the map you want, scroll down to [weap] and choose the rocket,flak cannon (fuel rod), or brute shot (if you want).

Don't forget to save after changing something!!!

Go to the meta editor and change the projectiles to what you want (I chose 10) and change the spawn offset x and y to 0.3

Then go to the [proj] tab and choose the projectile of the gun you're using.

Stay in the meta editor and scroll down until you see "air gravity scale" this is how much gravity pulls down the projectile (or the weight, either way)

Change that to 12.5

now, gop to the [mode] tab and find the weapon you're working with not the fp_(weapons name) and not the projectile, scroll until you see MARKERS in bold and go through the chunks until you find primary_ejection and primary_trigger.

Go to the X Y and Z under that and change X to 20 Y to 0 and Z to 15

After that put your .map back into your hdd and play normally and when you aim up a little and shoot you should see an "airstrike" in the distance :)

when i first did this a few months ago i used the spartan lasor. kinda like the hammer of dawn of GOW.

and for you rocket problem you mentioned like how they blow up to early. in proj youll see maximum distance. simply set that to a higher number. and then you can set the initial and starting velocity to a higher number so it hits the ground faster. but i were to speed up the bullets i would make them spawn higher than you did. that way if there was someone else you could actually see it as an air strike

get a newer version of alteration. 0.52 doesnt support strings. you need 0.525
