Retail How To User Map Mod With Usb

You will need USB explorer and halo toolbox which you can download from this site. I'll be showing you how to mod a few grenades to turn them in to master chief clones.

Heres a program you will need http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WQJBRY8W ( forge 2.7 )

First of all start up halo 3 and make an empty map with grenades not too close together and then move your map and your profile to your USB drive, then plug your USB into your computer and open up USB explorer, click 'open drive' then go to data And find your profile it should be 'E0000000' or something like that. Now find the map that you want To mod and extract it to your desktop.

Now open up forge 2.7 which is at the top of the topic.

Now open your user map which should be on your desktop. Go to eqip (equipment) and click on frag grenade.

Now there should be two scroll down bars first click on the short one and change it to 'bipd' and then change the long scroll down bar to 'master chief' click save.

Then change the author so you don't get banned and use the resigner to 'resign all' and close forge.

Open up USB explorer again and delete the old map and put in the modded one, close drive and plug the USB into the xbox, start up halo 3 and play your mod.

Yup and you can change other things like a spawn point into a elephant on sand trap and this was for retail first I think.

Sorry all this allows you to do is it let's you swap things with other things on the map for example you can Change a spawn point into one of the things that shoot you when you go out of bounds on snowbound.

Changing Turrets projectile mods and resizing etc is only for jtag or xdk.

yo i got an mac and wen i put in my USB in the mac it ses xbox360 and i open the xbox360 file it ses data0001 data0002 data0003.....wat am i gona do?

You have to open your USB using USB explorer
