Wow, very nice build. Especially the case, the graphics card and your mainboard are pretty awesome. Nearly bought the G9x as well, but after testing it at a local electronics store I realised that I prefer the palmgrip, so I ended up buying a steelseries sensei.

Keyboard

Nighthawk X9 (Cherry MX Red)

Mechanical keyboards ftw. I'm using a Topre Realforce right now, and I love it.

For macro mavericks and hotkey cool kids, the Nighthawk X9 dares you to download the robust “Gaming Keyboard” software. What it lack in creative nomenclature, it makes up for in programming freedom. Set a chain of commands and keystrokes to a single key. You can store 5 profiles with 10 macros keys for each profile for a maximum of 50 macros. These are stored right on the keyboard’s 128k on-board memory, for easy access on any computer–even without the software used to create the macro. That’s handy!

Hot damn. Edited by WaeV

Thanks, the build is almost 2 years old now but still handles anything.

As for your commend on the G9x, I agree though I didn't have a chance to try it out first. My prior mouse was the G5 and I loved it, when it died I went for the G9x since it was in the same series, I assumed it would have a similar or better grip.

I recently bought that new keyboard just a few months ago and I love it, mechanical Cherry MX Red switches and backlighting (which is rare on mechanical keyboards), fantastic for gaming.

Yeah, I can confirm that mechanical keyboards are perfect for gaming. I will never go back to rubberdome keyboards now that ive experienced what it´s like to type on a mechanical one.

I'll take a Phenom over an FX processor any day. I was once saving up for the bulldozer release for a while, though as they released with their performance so underwhelming I reconsidered. Many of the high end Phenom II chips are faster than what the FX line has to offer unfortunately.

I willingly bought this chip knowing that, but I've had no problems. My bro has a six core Phenom, and my FX and his Phenom are equally powerful.

ive always wanted a decent to some what high quality game lap top how much would that cost me lol

A decent gaming laptop would generally cost you around $1,200+

That being said, gaming laptops are usually more expensive than gaming desktops.
