i could contact nathan for you and go from there, however atm things are being moved around and changed from the plugin so im not sure about the most currently stable build but ill ask nathan next time i see him on whats the progress on being able to get it.

modded xex's can include anything. in the initial post saying you dont need to run any simple means mostly towards halo with its modded xex's for the realtime functions. so you can load the game up as normal or on just a play modded xex with only map loading and use a proper poking function.

Cause even nathan had said his original RTELaunchers were dont improperly and that is what led him to start coding this way.

This won't get your JTAG on retail Live. He's just talking about making a custom server like Xbox Live which allows modding. So,

1. Not sure, again this is a planned feature

2. None, because no such custom Live server exists yet

3. It's completely unrelated

I could dig a custom server like that. My Xlink doesn't work so I have no means of connecting to other modders.

So if Thunder is only one who bought it on the site thus far, then what the heck is he (maybe some outsiders, too) doing with it? He ain't playing with anybody and the xex modded library doesn't actually exist yet. What are they/he doing with that's a $100 worth on a incomplete project?

The point of this project is to give Devkit features to JTAGs. So it means that you can use Microsoft's official debugger tools to do modding research on games. The custom server thing will just be a side-effect.

Current Features:

-SDK Neighborhood implementation.

---Full console memory control, physical and temporary memory. Includes swapping files and Real time editing at any time on the console.

---Screen shot support

---Console Rebooting, to either dash, current title, or even a cold reboot which restarts the xbox.

---Game management, start a game or restart a game at any time from your computer

-Debugging

---Watson Debugging

-----see when xex's are launched and shut down

-----other commands will be printed out

---VS debugging

-----PPC debugging

-----breakpoints

-Console Commands

---Freeze and Unfreeze the console at any point

---Print system info

---Open/Close disk tray

---And many more commands

-SMB

---Run any game you want from your computers Hard Drive rather than using all the space on your console's HDD

Memedit is a small part of xbdm, they are technically the same thing.

The file included with that is actually just memedit under a different name. Download Ascension and take it from there instead.

one of the people nathan trusted with testing the plugin had given it out to a few of his friends. from that nathan had seized development and isnt sharing anything anymore.

so im not sure what will happen with this in the long run

Looks like this got publically released according to Xbox-Scene. Apparently it is on xbins.
