Or get people to patch the map... You don't need to upload the entire map file, just the 1-5kb patch file.

mentioning both posts at the same time even got me the idea of the snow map, however late a dusk so it would seem barren, cold and dark. then play it for infection.

and a suggestion would be to go through the materal effects and change them all from dirt to something that would resemble snow alot better.

although for out in the main part of the ocean its tricky and i havent even managed to change it all yet. havent problems finding some of the parts
