Making Boat/jetski

I'm thinking about making a revenant into a usable boat or jet ski whatever's easier it also needs to look like one and can drive on water with part of it in the water and most of it out I need help on this and im starting this on saturday anyone want to help me do this?

Well the hard part is getting it to float on water correctly.

Ya I know lots of time just to make the model but even more time on that thats why I need some help cuz I'm still a little new to modding

im not shore how to make mods but i think i can make it look like a boat

A. I recommend working on your grammar.

B. You'd have to know how to mod to get it to do that.

I remember Chrisco made a drivable dingy in halo 3 on longshore.

I guess I could try and help..

Well the thing about halo 3 was that they had made most of the "sea floor" FLAT unlike reach where it is all over. on halo 3 all i did was have a warthog drive around on the bottom and attach a dingy to the hog that was at the top of the water so it looked like it was floating.

In reach you can see there is a floating time for objects when they hit the water. maybe in one of the objects globals there is a "floating" value and a flag that makes things float when you are "Driving" them. hell maybe i am just spitting into the wind.

I'll probable give the water normal ground charictoristics But it will still look like water and I'll edit the nodes and cords so the revinate looks like a boat shouldnt take that long maby a few weeks depending how much I work on it

I made a waterworld mod, with the scorpion. Nulled the tread's shaders and made a massive grid on the ocean floor (just above the death barrier). Cheap and lazy, but it works.

I'm gonna try my best to get it working I'm using the revinate because it looks the most like a boat and I'll poke it so it looks more like one

Then what do I change to make the water so you can drive on it in a .map without using grids but it still looks like water

Ohhh your making it so you can drive on it.

But doesnt that mean you will basically be able to use any vehicle to drive on the water?

swapped map shaders and stopped the wave movement
