Unofficial Skyrim Patch by The Unofficial Patch Project Team

A comprehensive bugfixing mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the goal of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (aka USKP) is to eventually fix every bug with Skyrim not officially resolved by the developers to the limits of the Creation Kit and community-developed tools, in one easy-to-install package.

Downloads

At the author's request, I have removed the mod and uploaded a patchkit.

Arthmoor:

I ignored your message on Nexus because I'm waiting on them to decide how they want to handle it. You're aware obviously that everything that site is doing is illegal, right?

Anyway, yes, I'd like you to take down anything of mine that may be up there right now.

By typing I_AGREE for the password, you agree to the disclaimers above.

All my patchkits require ApplyPatch

1) Download mod from original mod page.

2) Download patchkit.

3) Extract all to same folder.

4) Run bat file to apply patch.

v1.2.6 Confirmed working by me, but freezes alot.

Download patchkit here.

v1.2.6 => v1.2 I have had much better luck with v1.2 so here is a kit that patches v1.2.6 to v1.2

Download patchkit here.

USKP v1.2.1 works for me by itself but I keep having crash issues when used with other mods that I was using with v1.2. I will repack again today and keep only the esp and the scripts. I believe that is how I did v1.2.

this patch are giving crash to me too but i remove some mods that i don't consider essential and worked fine.

Some mods must be incompatible with the patch.

Now the crash come back, even copying for the last and putting for loaded first

I could get the patch to work but for some reason if I quit the game and start again the games crashes over and over, it almost like he keeps changing the load order even i doing nothing (I don't know), all times it worked was from the first to load.

selyb did have any idea the cause of this? :pinch:

I will be in 1.2

I could not get 1.2.2 to work. 1.2.3b is not working any better. It must be a fix introduced in 1.2.1 or 1.2.2 that makes it unstable on the xbox360. Best to use 1.2 for now.

I have 4 versions of v1.2.3b. Try each one and see if any work. I am testing as well. I think #3 or #4 most likely to work. In those two, I removed some scripts that run when you load a save game. If either #3 or #4 work then I will probably edit the mod and remove those quests from the esp too.

I just learned that TU9 will come out soon and v1.2.3b requires TU9. Stay with v1.2 until TU9 is out then try v1.2.3b

Just for confirmation.

Ive tried 1.2.2 with only Dawnguard and Heartfire installed and it crashed so I am 100% sure it is the mod.

Also regarding mod order.

Should I install the Dawnguard and Heartfire fixes before installing dawnguard and heartfire itself or do the official mods get priority?

Load order is opposite the order you install the files. What you copy first goes to teh top of the list and is loaded last. Also in regard to your question, all ESMs are loaded before any ESPs so it really shouldn't matter if you copy the official DLC first and they are on top of the list because they will still be loaded before the patches. I have not tested this aspect, it is just my understanding from my research.

What I do is prefix the DLC names with numbers, higher numbers for mods to be loaded first and then I delete all mods from 00000002 folder and copy all mods back from smallest number to largest.

Here I have converted USKP v1.2.2 five times.

#1) only removed armor meshes and textures + a grinding wheel mesh and texture that I remember not working when I converted USKP v1.1

#2) Kept all scripts and sounds. Kept only meshes/textures related to a character introduced by USKP (doesn't replace vanilla files)

#3) Same as #2 but I removed 4 script files named 'onload' (onload is script event that is run when you load a save game)

#4) Same as #1 but I removed the scripts mentioned in #3

#5) Only kept Scripts folder minus scripts mentioned in #3
