Hey i was wondering if their was a Tutorial for finding the values of x,y,z Aim values for Weapons, to create auto Aim.

I have no problem finding Health, Ammo etc when poking in the xex, but i'm not quite sure how to find those values.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this will help, but you could always go back to the halo 3 aimbot xex (jaspers) and view in IDA what changes was made, then see if there is any similarity on reach / 4. Dumb idea yes.

I remember a long time ago I saw snipestyle's portal mod and asked how he did it. He said you need to move/rotate/deform/merge models. How is this accomplished? I would guess its in the mode tag, but I've messed with every value that had x, y, and z on it and I've had no luck. And for the merging I have no idea. Any tips?

Not sure if this is a networking question or a Halo 4 but...

I want to connect my retail and JTAG in system link but still be able to poke changes. I tried connecting using my normal network and switching to system link lobby but neither of the accounts could join each other.

Then I tried the Ad Hoc network between the two Xbox's which allowed them to have accounts in the same lobby, but the network doesn't show up on my laptop so I couldn't poke anything.

Then I tried creating an Ad Hoc network on my laptop and connecting the Xbox's to it but neither of the Xbox's would connect properly and if they did get an IP address Neighborhood then couldn't find the Ip address.

Finally I tried using one laptop to host the Ad Hoc network and the internet connection, one laptop to connect and test it was working (which it did) and then connecting the xbox's to that network once i knew it had internet connection. Once again the xbox's said they were connected yet if i hit test Xbox live connection on the retail it could not connect to the network let alone the internet.

So yeh kind of out of options here :/ was wondering if anybody knew how I could do it?

I used to have this problem. Just make sure you aren't running a modified xex and that halo 4 on your jtag is updated to the same version as your retail.

I could give that a try, See if anything strikes me. If it's dumb and work's it not dumb.

It is mode, in Nodes (not markers). XYZ should be position of that specific node relative to the center of the object, with quaternions as the rotation values. Then you change which chunk you are on, until you find the node you are trying to edit.

You will probably have to try a few to find which one is right though, for instance spartans have 120 different nodes so it might take you 100 tries to find the left thigh (or whatever).

Merge probably means he used multiple models to create a more complex shape, probably by spawning child objects and manipulating those models.

Thank you.

Online you can't.

Offline on retail you can use a modded .gpd

Offline on Jatag/RGH/Dev Kit you can use zedd's blue flames patch.

Sorry guys, like Zedd said, I meant Halo 4.

I've got an RGH, and I'm using assembly but I can't find them.

They are in the same tag as Reach, just with masterchief in the name. (armor_fx)

Still attached to the bipd as well if you don't want to scroll through effe.

Okay, I found them all but when I poke them, nothing happens...What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if I'm even remotely right, but here's what I'm doing.

Going into the masterchief biped, going down to attachments and messing with those effects. I have a feeling that I'm in the completely wrong area.

You have to replace the animation bones.

Of the jmad or the mode?

Replace the nodes reflexive in the weapon model you want with the one from the weapon model whose animation you want to steal, then swap the jmad ref in the weapon tag.

Are you finished trying to make the mammoth not fall through the ground?

Quit asking. You asked yesterday, and he said he was working on it.
